Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 23, 2025
CourtView ("we", "us", or "our") operates the CourtView platform — a live court-availability and venue-management service for sports venues and their players. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
1. Information We Collect
Venue owners and staff
When you register a venue or are added as a staff member, we collect:
- Name and email address
- Phone number
- Business name and address
- A public venue URL (slug) you choose
- Profile photo and venue cover image (if uploaded)
- Payment and load transaction records
Players and visitors
Players who check in at a venue provide their name, skill level, party size, and session duration to the venue operator. We store this information to enable the check-in and booking features. We do not require players to create an account.
Sign in with Google
If you choose to register or sign in using Google, we receive from Google your email address and display name. We do not receive your Google password, contacts, or any other Google account data beyond what you explicitly authorize.
Usage data
We collect standard server logs and analytics (page views, referring URLs, browser type) to understand how the platform is used and to fix errors. This data is aggregated and not linked to individual identities.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account and venue
- To operate the court check-in, booking, and availability features
- To send transactional emails (email confirmation, booking notifications)

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of CourtView, our users, or the public.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial record-keeping purposes.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and row-level security on our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
